“We arrived and looked around he beautiful house and grounds. Then, we traveled into Wilton, ate ice cream at the Candy Kitchen (Yummy!) and bought candles at LorLen's Candles. Then, dinner at the Holiday Inn in Muscatine . After that, came back here and had a special walk along the prairie trail, watched the sunset on the porch swing.a friendly kitty joined us! Played Scrabble and had snacks way into the night. Had a peaceful sleep, lovely breakfast, then embraced the reality of having to leave. The whole experience was unforgettable. The Inn, the memories, the animals, the sunset, the sleep! It was all amazing. Thank you so much! Oh, and the cookies! The COOKIES!” |

a beautiful, comfortable B&B! Well appointed, comfort-able
bed, good cookies, lots of hot water and most of all gentle,
relaxing atmosphere!” “We
were amazed at the thoughtfulness of Donovan and LeAnn. My
wife, in-laws did not want to leave. I loved the old, re-claimed
wood for the headboard and trim, very nice! (How much to stay
for a month or two? :o)“ |

a treat for the kids to wake up and run outside to play right
away ~ much more fun than looking at the four walls of a hotel
room! The kids loved the animals, the tree house and the play

and LeAnn set the tone for the whole experience - personable,
unhurried, accommodating and gracious. We loved the porch swing,
tree swing and tree house! It was wonderful to wake to an exquisite
quiche with asparagus fresh from the garden and fresh strawberries.
Going for a run in the country and retuning to cool off on the
tree swing…real country living!” |
