On The Prairie Guest Rooms
The arrangement of our 1910 ‘Arts and Crafts’
style prairie home, provides all the comfort and privacy our guests
require. A private front entrance and a first floor ‘parlor’
which is dedicated to our guests, supplies plenty of ‘space’.
All rooms are centrally
air conditioned, private baths plus comfortable
seating for relaxing and enjoying the slower pace here in the country.
We feature ‘Micro Kitchenettes’, complete with microwave,
fridge, toaster, coffee maker and a table to enjoy your all natural
country in-room breakfast. All rooms at Pines On The Prairie are Smoke-Free, Pet-Free Rooms.
To satisfy your ‘munchies’
or sweet tooth’, each room is supplied with popcorn, cocoa,
herbal teas, coffees, sodas, juices, Gramma Violet’s chocolate
chip cookies, purified water and other snacks …gotcha covered,
no convenience stores out here on the prairie!
We’ve provided some interesting games and reading
materials, including some old magazines that will take you back
in time….

Look for the Serendipity Box in your room!
We have something fun here at the Pines….the Serendipity Box! You hunt for it in your room and look at the “treasures” in it. You can take items with you, if you replace them with any small and unusual item. You can also have some fun decorating it or leave your ‘mark’ on it such as a picture or signature. That’s all we’re gonna tell you!
