scenic driving tours begin and end at Pines On the Prairie. Each
of these ‘day trips’ can be completed from mid-morning
to late afternoon. They are laid out to consider lunch points, resting
stops, variety and plenty of beautiful prairie scenery! Hop in the

you’ll ever see. Enjoy exploring the quaint city of Anamosa.
Iowa artist Grant Wood painted, taught and lived in the Anamosa
area. You’ve seen the ‘American Gothic’ painting
of the stoic Iowa farmer with the pitch fork and his wife…that
was painted by Grant Wood! Shop the downtown area, take in the
city park. Several towns along the way…stop, shop and
explore the Heartland! |
